Prior to becoming a mother, I worked in the financial services industry for many years - insurance, residential mortgages, sales and operations management. I recently returned to school to complete a psychology degree concentrating on family studies.
When I became a stay-at-home mom, I often found myself with opportunities to help other moms. Sometimes, it may be using my financial background to help a mom who wants to be home with her children make the transition from the workplace to home. Other times, it may be helping a working mom locate childcare resources. I noticed many resources needed are the same among some families.
This site exists to make life easier for parents. By centralizing family related resources in our community, parents can research their options from the comfort of their home 24 hours a day, seven days per week. A simple idea to centralize resources is now a business that uses my work experience, education and hands on experience as a mom.
